Preservatives & Shelf Life               

Austin Molnar Organic skin care has produced an exceptional preservative structure derived from natural sources and food grade ingredients. We combine the properties of salicylic acid (plant source), hydroxymethlglycinate (glycine - lecithin source), sodium benzoate (fruit source), decyl glycoside (plant source), gluconolactone (sugar source) at low levels to create a synergetic preservative system providing superior shelf life. 

As with all natural harvest we suggest they are kept in a cool dark place with stable and consistent temperature. By no means freeze or expose Austin Molnar Organics products to limitations. This will compromise the stability or shelf survival of the product.  Austin Molnar Organics does not utilize propylene glycol in any products which functions in a comparable way to anti-freeze, thus eliminating the need for special usage information. Typical room temperature is 68-77 degree F (20-25 degrees C) and is the ideal setting for Austin Molnar Organics. When skin care of any kind is stored at warmer temperatures, the stabilizer structure drastically declines.  So for future reference, one week stored at temperatures higher than 85 degrees F is equal to three months shelf life.
